S3E14 | Let’s Play

Matthew 18:3 ‘And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.’

I don’t want to lose people here by thinking this is a kid’s episode or about parenting. It’s not either of those.

If you don’t have kids that’s ok. What I love about my kids is something we each had or have had within us. Whether you like kids, don’t want kids, think they are loud, messy, or whatever your reason for not being around them or wanting them in your life right now. It’s ok!

But, you were those kids at one point. Playing, creating, imagining, discovering, and solving problems in your life in ways your parents might have said, “Huh! I wouldn’t have done it that way.” This is the kind of realization we need to have about how we seek to incorporate play into our lives.
